Say Hello to the Explorer

Speed Check – Speed Explorer ( a could be? )
Today comes off as a nice turn; Speed Check Explorer will be the host of the large community once it comes online. Familiar to Myspace & Bebo, Speed Explorer identifies you as an individual or a team (group). You can access your friends list of the game and talk to them even if you’re not online. You can leave comments, request races, talk in the forum and much, much more have yet to be announced. So why turn to Speed Explorer? The Explorer will function almost everything you need to play the game even if you’re not online, talk to your friends easily and get messages back even if you don’t have the game launched.

This will be the official home to Speed Check and will give everyone a chance to explore. Some functions are unsure at this current moment, I’m still unsure on how everything will be done – it will take a lot of work, but still would benefit extremely to the players. Hopefully it will launch for Beta use shortly. Keep checking back soon and you’ll see a demo of career mode were you can play the first scenario. It’ll be small, but fun.

Once again, thanks for reading and checking out this entry - soon you'll see a demo. Until July :) have a good half of a summer.

Freelance Work

I've been working on two projects for weathersdesign.com, part of freelance work for the company. So far, Mastley in my opinion has been the best of the sites I've done so far, by the end of the month I should have atleast 7 more online. These are only screenshots as they are under production and should be released shortly in HMTL.

Mastley
This project is for "Mastley Performance Group"

Southern Metal Roofing
This one went through quite a lot of designs, but finally ended up looking like this. I prefered the older versions, you can find the older one here.

This Summer, Speed Check will commence with an immense flash online experience, building a community which will allow players to create, lead, challenge and discuss. So... what date in the summer... Armor Games are wishing it be ready for August the 1st, so hopefully, it'll be then!

Besides Speed Check, Tutorial Time II is releasing at July the 9th. It'll be one of the biggest tutorials you will ever see. Trust me...

Speed Check Work

Speed Check Development Update #1

Below you can view a screenshot from Speed Check's "Your Inbox" feature which takes control of game invites, messages and lets you send messages to your team or friends. You can report abuse or block the sender, reply and delete the message. Allowing the user full control of what they recieve and send. This image is subject to chance. I'll be changing it quite a lot.

The second screenshot showcases the login screen, which is "slick & clean". Giving the chance for a guest to sign in and for profiles which were created on that user's pc to be logged into. Selecting a profile does require a password*, but doesn't pop up until you have selected a profile by moving over users profile image which inturns glows white. Also noticable in the Profile Selection is the profiles rep which is handy for knowing if you have two profiles which one needs possible work on.

Now, the following screenshot showcases several advantages which put this game into an even greater community project. "Your Panel" allows you to customize what you want to see in the main home page "latest news". Of course latest news gives you news, your stats and a search engine to make you in control always when you log in. Simply beautiful. The contrasting colours express a great image for what this game is.

This is all from this Development Update. Thanks for reading and I hope you have enjoyed the screenshots as I believe this is the future of flash gaming. You can enlarge the images by clicking on them. Until the next time, bye and I'll leave you with this image of the chatroom v0.1.
